It’s true: the richest people aren’t the happiest.
So concludes Robert Waldinger, the fourth director of the Harvard Study of Adult Development, who has wrapped up a 75-year longitudinal study of 724 men with the purpose of identifying what makes a person truly happy and healthy.
Of the 724 men, 60 men are still living and attribute their emotional and physical wellness to one thing: relationships.
