What to Expect From the Next Phase of Economic Stimulus

The US’s total fiscal response to Covid-19 so far has been the largest fiscal response since World War II and has totaled more than twice the size of the Global Financial Crisis relief package that was passed in 2009.

Since March 4, the US has offered emergency relief funding. In the next two weeks, Congress will be discussing a second Coronavirus Relief Package, expected to be voted on by early August.
