Growing up, Greg watched his father make a difference in people’s lives as a primary care physician. Greg considered following those footsteps but found his own path to forming strong relationships through finance in his role as a Certified Financial Planner™ professional.

“People attribute my father’s success to his love and care of his patients, which I’ve always admired,” Greg says. “Through wealth management, our clients also feel cared for – they can sleep at night knowing someone is looking out for them. I love helping people in meaningful ways, and I have a passion for breaking down complex financial matters so they are simple to understand.”

After graduating from Augustana College, Greg began his financial services career with Claymore Securities as one of their first sales representatives and he watched the company grow exponentially in his nine years with them. From there, Greg was recruited by the financial products start-up Elkhorn Investments, where he wore many hats as an equity partner.

A Wheaton native, Greg relishes working in a community he knows and loves.

As Market Development Officer, Greg is enthusiastic about helping the firm expand its outreach to younger investors while also championing the firm’s unique ability to help individuals and families through life’s transitions. He is also excited for the opportunity to promote the company’s unparalleled service to the small- and mid-sized business communities.

Outside of work Greg enjoys time with his wife and three daughters, as well as his large local family and church. He also enjoys running, outdoor activities and community involvement.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™ and federally registered CFP (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
