Title:

Account Executive – Wealth Management Team


Mission:

The role of an Account Executive is to work closely with two or three Wealth Advisors to provide financial planning services, assist with investment management, tackle special requests, and handle day-to-day account maintenance for clients. There will be participation in client, prospect and COI meetings and entertainment functions at the discretion of the relationship managers. This position has the potential to grow into the role of Wealth Advisor and managing one’s own book of clients


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a system for client meetings; be proactive and timely with communications via email and phone; discern best communication method given circumstances
  • Maintain CRM system (Salesforce) with accurate client data; maintain account files; perform scanning in timely manner
  • Review client accounts, cash balances and prior day transactions for accuracy
  • Review client portfolio for correct allocation, rebalancing and placement of assets for tax efficiency; assist with investment policy statement preparation
  • Prepare for and participate in client meetings
  • Prepare and present financial plans
  • Complete annual administrative and investment reviews
  • Familiarity with IRA accounts, research complex issues
  • Research relating to tax planning and legal document questions; prepare estate maps
  • Review tax reporting information; coordinate tax report review and dissemination
  • Other complex activities and research as directed by the relationship manager

Education:

Bachelor’s or other professional degree preferred


Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of support experience, preferably in financial services, IRA or investment industry


Certifications :

  • CFP® or Series 65 preferred
