Her first job as a sales associate in a Geneva, Illinois tea and spice shop taught Jill Ward that listening is the cornerstone of customer service. Because the shop owner had difficulty speaking, Jill often would step in as translator, interpreting what customers had trouble understanding. She says, “It was a great learning experience, teaching me patience and understanding.”
For over 25 years Jill has been applying that same customer service skill set to her roles at the company. She serves on the Account Review and Discretionary Distribution committees and is a member of the Wealth Management team, in which she is responsible for a select group of client relationships. Listening and understanding her clients’ needs helps Jill make a lasting difference in their lives.
Jill earned a BA in economics from the University of Illinois, and is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CFTA). She is active in her community and is a member of the DuPage Estate Planning Council and the Financial Planning Association.
An avid nature-lover, when Jill isn’t working she can be found outside gardening, exploring our national parks, hiking, biking, or enjoying relaxing evenings on her patio sipping wine with her husband. “I can’t let a nice day go by without spending at least a part of it outdoors!”
